Warner Leisure Hotels has announced plans to invest £5m in its 13 properties across England and Wales.

Another £2m will be spent refurbishing other rooms across the estate and in re-vamping many of its hotel restaurants.

Nidd Hall Hotel in Yorkshire (pictured) will see one of the largest investments of 2009 with the final £1m being spent on 51 bedroom refurbishments and a full re-design of its on-site Rawson Restaurant.

A spokeswoman for the group said it had already upgraded dining options at Thoresby Hall in Nottinghamshire with the opening of Tuscan-style restaurant Fenocchi`s and at Littlecoat House in Berkshire with Oliver`s Bistro.
