Paperino’s to open third Glasgow restaurant
The Italian restaurant chain is to open its third site in Glasgow next month

Glasgow’s Italian restaurant chain Paperino’s, is to open its third outlet in the city on the former site of Freddie Williams’s 78 St. Vincent Street next month.

Once an extensive refurbishment of the property is completed, the 160-cover restaurant will have seating both on the ground floor and on a mezzanine level, with a private dining room situated at the rear.

A bar area will be created at the front of the restaurant while the kitchen will be fully modernised to serve the traditional Paperino’s menu of pizzas, pastas and Italian meat and fish dishes already available at the sites in Sauchiehall Street and Byres Road.

Mark Billington, managing director at Paperino’s @ 78 St Vincent Street, said: “We know already that Glaswegians love the Paperino’s offering of freshly made authentic Italian food and we’re delighted that we can now extend that offering to them from a prime location in the heart of the city centre at 78 St Vincent Street, just a few hundred yards along from George Square.”
