The Which? Good Food Guide has revealed the winning regional restaurants in this year`s Restaurant of the Year competition.
Entropy in Leicester, L`Etranger in South Kensington, Maison Bleue in Bury St Edmunds, Mourne Seafood in Belfast, Tyddyn Llan in Llandrillo, Yorke Arms in Ramsgill, Nutters in Norden, Ubiquitous Chip in Glasgow, Mulberry Tree in Boughton Monchelsea and Ronnies in Thornbury were voted best local restaurants by more than 23,000 Good Food Guide readers.
The 10 independently owned restaurants, pubs and cafes will now go through to the final on June 9 for the chance to win the overall Restaurant of the Year title.
Good Food Guide editor Elizabeth Carter said: “All of the restaurants that made it on to this year’s shortlist should be really proud of the show of support they’ve received from their customers. Last years winner, Ramsons in Ramsbottom, is an extraordinary restaurant, and this year sees another string of extremely strong entries. It’ll now be a really tough decision for the judges to crown the overall winner.”
