Restaurant operator Jimmy Spice`s is set to open the fifth branch of its fusion buffet concept in Stratford-upon-Avon later this month as part of plans to expand the company.
The 200-cover restaurant will open on the site of the town`s former Yates`s Bar on June 17 and will serve Indian, Thai, Italian and Chinese dishes.
The company currently operates Jimmy Spice`s in Birmingham, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield and Epsom and is looking to open more sites in the South. It also operates the NYC Bar & Lounge in Solihull and the Blue Mango Indian Brasserie in Birmingham.
Jaswinder Choongh of Jimmy Spice’s said: “We were very happy to have secured this great site in Stratford-upon-Avon."
Tamar McDonough of Christie & Co, who negotiated the lease for Jimmy Spice`s said: “Generally, the small and medium-sized independent restaurant groups are taking advantage of lower prices and rents, and the availability of cheaper funding in the current climate to expand their operations.”
