Taboo targets female drinkers in on-trade marketing campaign
Vodka-fruit fusion drink Taboo is targeting female drinkers this summer by giving away thousands of nail polishes in its on-trade marketing campaign

Vodka-fruit fusion drink Taboo is launching an on-trade summer marketing campaign giving away over 13,000 nail polishes worth over £10 each with every three consumer purchases.

The drink has teamed up with Nails Inc to give away high-value nail polishes to female consumers when they purchase three 50ml measures of Taboo, either straight or with a mixer.

Mark Collins, senior brand manager for Taboo at UK distributor First Drinks, said the campaign was designed to inject some ‘fun and glamour’ into the marketplace, which is continuing to face ‘such a difficult time.’

“Taboo is an increasingly popular speciality drink, which offers outlets and consumers alike numerous serving options ideal for the warmer months,” he said. “The tie up with such a complementary brand as Nails Inc is an ideal way for us to reach our target drinkers, giving them a fresh incentive to trial this much loved brand.”

The campaign will be supported with a range of POS material including tent cards, posters and branded t-shirts, all of which are available from distributors.
