Manchester conferencing facilities collaborate to boost business

A number of Greater Manchester’s venues with conferencing facilities are teaming up to collectively promote their services to a national and international audience.
The Imperial War Musuem North, The Lowry, Lancashire County Cricket Club and Ramada Manchester Salford Quays have united under the Quays Conferencing title, after it was revealed by conference management service Oxford International that Greater Manchester is one of the most cost effective places to host conferences in the UK.
As part of the unity, the venues will be holding a series of weekend-long events to lure in new business from around the UK and the world.
Anthony Zvirblis, spokesperson for Quays Conferencing, said: “The unique offers available amongst our partners give us have a strong case for saying we have one of the best conferencing facilities in the UK. We will be hosting two major events for the industry over the next 12 months and feel confident that pooling our resources will pay dividends for all partners.”
Quays Conferencing currently collectively provides facilities for 3,533 delegates, although this number is set to increase once Lancashire County Cricket Club completes its £12m redevelopment program.
