Starting on the 25th, The Establishment Parsons Green​ is launching a monthly gin club to share its knowledge of gin with its members. At £15 a session, members will be taught about gin on the last Tuesday of every month and receive lessons on how to create classic gin cocktails and use complementing canapés.

Best Western rewards shoppers

Best Western​ has teamed up with reward scheme provider Collinson Latitude to unveil a nationwide loyalty programme to help retain its customer base. Customers who shop at retailers, which include Marks & Spencer, Boots and Waterstones, through an online web portal earn loyalty points which they can redeem at Best Western hotels or on other amenities such as room services with their Best Western Travel Card.

London’s game for grouse

With grouse season underway, several London restaurants have added the seasonal game to their menus. Spitalfields restaurant Le Bouchon Breton​ is offering a roast grouse a la anglais for £40 per person, while OXO Tower Restaurant​ will serve Scottish offering roast grouse with grouse haggis at £35 per person.

Country house discount for agents
