Shaun Watling, formerly of the Four Seasons Park Lane, has been appointed executive chef of The Berkeley in Knightsbridge

The Berkeley​ in Knightsbridge has appointed a new executive chef to oversee its dining operations independent of Marcus Wareing at The Berkeley and Gordon Ramsay’s Boxwood Café.

Shaun Watling joins the five-star hotel with 24 years of experience, having most recently held the position of executive sous chef at the Four Seasons Park Lane. He has also worked at Les Saveurs Restaurants and Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute.

Watling will now oversee a team of 35 chefs in the day-to-day culinary operation of The Caramel Room and The Blue Bar, as well as events and in-room dining, while Wareing and Ramsay’s restaurants will continue to run as separate operations.
