Knightsbridge department store Harvey Nichols is to launch a new Champagne bar on its fifth floor in collaboration with Champagne Perrier-Jouet in October.
Designed by Shaun Clarkson ID to reflect the 1900s art nouveau salons, the Fifth Floor Bar will be adorned with off-white Chesterfield and chaise-longue seating, with flashes of rose and green on the bar chairs and tabletops.
Mirrored tiles separate the Fifth Floor Bar from the Harvey Nichols Restaurant, Foodmarket and Wine Shop, and will serve a predominantly Champane-orientated drinks menu.
Perrier-Jouet cocktails and flights as well as a collection of rare vintages will be available, including the Belle Epoque Blanc de Blancs and the Methuselahs and Salmanazars of Cuvee Belle Epoque.
Bar food will also be served in the form of bite-sized seafood tasters from Harvey Nichols executive chef Jonas Karlsson.
