InterContinental Hotels Group’s Crowne Plaza London - The City will open its third in-house restaurant - Chinese Cricket Club - this month with chef Brendan Speed at the helm.
Speed, who launched and ran Zuma in Istanbul, will serve a menu focused on modern Sichuan cuisine which will include his signature dishes, such as Perch with Garlic Chives, alongside traditional dishes and dim sum.
The 80-cover restaurant, named in honour of the newly formed Chinese national cricket team, will open on 17 November.
Chinese Cricket Club will sit alongside Refettorio, the hotel's Italian restaurant run by head chef Alessandro Bay and directed by Giorgio Locatelli. The hotel also offers all-day dining in its Lobby Lounge restaurant.
