The Dorchester Collection’s Coworth Park appoints a general manager, and The Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington gets a new head concierge

The Dorchester Collection​ has appointed Zoe Jenkins as general manager of its new 70-bedroom country house hotel, Coworth Park​ in Ascot, Berkshire.

After working at The Dorchester Collection’s eponymous London hotel for 15 years, most recently as food and beverage director, Jenkins joined Coworth Park six months ago as director of operations. As general manager, Jenkins will now oversee the day-to-day running of the hotel once it launches in summer 2010​.

Meanwhile, The Royal Garden Hotel​ in Kensington has appointed Robert Shorter, previously of The Lanesborough and The Four Seasons Hotel on Park Lane, as head concierge.

Shorter said: “I am extremely honoured to have been offered the role of head concierge at such a prestigious hotel and it gives me great pleasure to be part of such a professional and happy team.”
