Tim Luff has joined Peach Pub Group's The Fishes in North Hinksey as head chef with plans to make the 'great Oxfordshire pub even better'.
Luff, who has been a chef for nine years, joins from the Olive Branch at Clipsham where he helped secure the pub a Michelin star.
The chef, who started out as a bar manager, said: “I’m thrilled to be here at The Fishes and looking forward to putting my stamp on the menu and making an already great Oxfordshire pub even better."
Simon Malin, chef/proprietor of Malbec Petit Bistro in Stratford-upon-Avon, has also recruited a new chef to work alongside him in the restaurant's kitchen.
Phil Gordon, 26, joins from Lambs restaurant also in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Malin said: "It has been an incredibly busy year here at Malbec and I’m cautiously optimistic that 2010 will continue to see the restaurant filled with the great and the good of Stratford, hence my appointment of Phil, who has already impressed in the kitchen and quickly become a valuable new member of the culinary team."
