Denny’s, the chef and front of house clothing supplier, has launched a bespoke service to personalise and manufacture Damascus stainless steel cutlery.
The service is aimed at high-end bars, restaurants and hotels looking to refurbish or update their cutlery range, with clients including Mark Hix, who worked with Denny’s to create a steak knife for HIX and Hix Oyster and Chop House in London.
Nick Jubert, Denny’s managing director, said: “Our creative team can take a knife design, tailor it to individual requirements and incorporate an etched logo to create something totally unique. Our new ranges are not only the ultimate in style but in value too.”
The Damascus knife range is crafted using 37 layers of Japanese steel with traditional sword making skills, for optimal sharpness and durability.
