Hilton Glasgow has appointed a new restaurant manager for it’s award-winning restaurant Cameron’s.
French-born Mathilde Brallet steps into the role at Hilton Glasgow after completing the group’s ‘Elevator’ graduate training programme.
Having graduated from the Ecole hoteliere de Lausanne in Switzerland, Mathilde spent nine months working at Hilton Glasgow in a variety of roles. She will now oversee the dining operation of Cameron’s, working alongside head chef James Murphy to promote the site as a destination restaurant.
Restaurant Associates appointment
Meanwhile, Compass Group has appointed a new managing director for its Restaurant Associates division.
Nick Potter will join the premium catering provider next month from Gala Coral, where he held various positions including divisional managing director.
Jason Leek, sector managing director, said: “Nick is an exciting addition to the Restaurant Associates leadership team who I believe will bring innovation, energy, creativity and a dynamic outlook to the business; we are very pleased to have him on board.”
