Galvin Cup open for bartender entries

Professional and student bartenders from around the world are being invited to enter the fourth annual Galvin Cup, the cocktail competition launched by Chris Galvin and Galvin at Windows general manager, Fred Sirieix.
To be held on 8 June at Westminster Kingsway College, the Galvin Cup seeks to recognise the hard work and creativity of bar staff, rewarding the winner with a cash prize, a stay at the Glenmorangie Distillery, and the Galvin Cup itself.
Entrants will be required to create a classic Rob Roy before showcasing their own individual creation to the judges, including Silvano Giraldin, vice president of the UK Bartenders Guild, who will be looking for mixing skill and confidence.
