BigHospitality, Restaurant magazine and a handful of R150 members visited the El Bulli workshop in Barcelona to find out what Ferran Adria's plans are for the future of the restaurant, which will transform into a culinary academy in 2014

Ferran Adria's three Michelin-starred restaurant El Bulli in Roses, Spain, has held the number one spot in the S.Pellegrino World's 50 Best Restaurants awards for four years running.

However the award-winning chef spends six months of the year working with a small team of chefs compiling recipes and ideas for his menus in his workshop in nearby Barcelona.

BigHospitality, Restaurant magazine and a handful of R150 members​ visited the El Bulli workshop to find out what Adria's plans are for the future of the restaurant, which will transform into a culinary academy in 2014.
