Gordon Ramsay Holdings (GRH) has confirmed the group is looking for a site at the One New Change Development in St. Paul’s, London.
Due to launch in October this year, the development will house nine restaurants, including Jamie Oliver’s 200-cover American BBQ restaurant concept Barbecoa.
Gordon Ramsay has now also confirmed its interest in the development, namely the roof terrace, One New Change’s only remaining catering site.
Despite rumours of a concept similar to Gordon Ramsay Plane Food at London Heathrow’s Terminal 5, GRH has not confirmed what format the St. Paul’s restaurant will take.
A spokesperson for GRH told BigHospitality: “We can confirm that we are looking at a site in St Paul’s for a new restaurant. If and when the papers are signed for the site, a decision on the concept will be made.”
One New Change restaurants
Land Securities, developers of One New Change, have so far confirmed a further four restaurant names opening in October, including Wasabi, Sumo Salad, Byron Burgers, Zizzis and a second outlet for cupcake and organic café Bea’s of Bloomsbury.
David Atcherley Symes, retail manager for Land Securities’ London Portfolio, said: “We have created a really unique destination at One New Change. We are extremely pleased with the line up achieved and are confident that the shopping, combined with catering, a roof terrace and never before seen views of St Paul’s Cathedral will drive a seven day trade in the City and provide an unparalleled experience for visitors.”
