Park Plaza has this month launched two further hospitality venues at its Westminster Bridge hotel on London’s South Bank to accompany chef Joel Antunes’ Brasserie Joel.
The 30-cover Ichi Sushi and Sashimi Bar is open for lunch and dinner, serving head chef Sadayuki Okamoto’s traditionally Japanese menu.
Dishes include Sunomono (salmon, tuna, scallops and prawn with vegetables served in a vinaigrette sauce), Muzuki (seaweed grown on sea rock served with sweet vinegar) plus a range of sashimi and sushi platters.
Also recently opened at the 1,021-bedroom hotel is live music venue Primo Bar, which serves a number of tapas-style dishes influenced by Antunes’ international travels.
Minimalist designed using subtle lighting and leather seating, Primo Bar will play host to a range of live music acts three nights a week on its purpose built stage.
Brasserie Joel, the first UK restaurant from Antunes for 15 years, opened earlier this month serving a selection of classic bistro dishes such as Steak Tartar, Fish Soup and Tournedos Rosselini in Truffle Sauce.
