Eclectic Clubs & Bars, owner of the Po Na Na chain, will launch its first Lola La South Pacific bar and club in Brighton next month.
Lola La, which has been almost two years in development, will open in the former 280-capacity Po Na Na in the city on 1 July.
The club will trade five days a week and drinks include cocktails, Champagne and 15 speciality rums.
Interior design duties have been handled by Jamie Wilson, who has created a Polynesian vibe, featuring bamboo, hand-carved woods and evocative lighting.
Eclectic operations director Lee Nicolson said: “Our aim is to immerse our guests in the atmosphere and flavour of a topical oasis. The pure essence of care-free joie de vivre is what Lola Lo is all about.”
