Skinny Fashion Week burgers
In acknowledgement of London Fashion Week this week, the InterContinental Park Lane has introduced a ‘skinny’ burger to its menu for fashionistas counting the calories. Featuring a dry-grilled buffalo steak burger with salad garnish, the bread-less burger contains just 143 calories and 2.4 grams of fat, and will be available until 22 September.
Michelin-starred guest appearance
The British Larder in Suffolk will be collaborating with Brett Graham of The Ledbury in Notting Hill and Steve Williams of The Harwood Arms in Fulham for a one-off Michelin-starred evening. Diners will experience a four-course meal fusing local Suffolk produce with Michelin-starred cooking, and will have an opportunity to meet the chefs after. The evening held on 27 September is priced at £55 per person, including a welcome drink.
Sanctum Soho, the London hotel operated by Mark Fuller, will launch a new afternoon tea on 1 October designed especially for gentlemen. Featuring a three course selection of hot and cold dishes, including roast beef, mini burgers and chocolate fudge cake, a silver tankard of Jack Daniels and a cigar, the tea will be available from £50.
Guoman and Thistle Hotels have launched a dual incentive scheme for those booking meetings and events for between 1 January and 31 March 2011. Bookers can be in with a chance of receiving an Ipod Shuffle, iPod, iMac, a 3 per cent commission boost, or a luxury holiday to Shanghai.
