Continental patisserie supplier Bakehouse has launched two new pastry shapes for the foodservice sector, an Almond and Apricot Scroll and a Cherry Chocolate Plait

Made by Schulstad Royal Danish Pastry, the oldest and largest bakery in Denmark, the pastries are supplied frozen, pre-proved and ReadyGlazed using a sugar-based glaze.

The Apricot and Almond Scroll features an apricot centre encased in 24 layers of pastry scrolled on both sides and filled with an almond remonce.

The Cherry Chocolate Plait meanwhile is a black cherry and dark chocolate filling surrounded by plaited pastry and dusted with real dark chocolate pieces for added visual appeal.

Bakehouse also supplies fresh and frozen bread and savoury pastries to the on-trade.
