Yo! Sushi, the conveyor belt sushi restaurant chain, is to open its second site in Birmingham at the Brindleyplace development.
The group is to take a 2,508 sq ft across two floors in The Water's Edge area of the mixed-use complex. It will occupy two vacated units, one of which was used by Zen and the empty one next door.
It already operates a concession stand in Selfridges in the Bullring.
Led by Robin Rowland and backed by private equity firm Quilvest, Yo! Sushi has had an eventful year, reaching the milestone of 50 UK restaurants after a trio of new launches.
The chain also unveiled its first ever alfresco conveyer belt, at its Southbank site at the Royal Festival Hall in London.
