Oysters & Champagne
Trafalgar Square's Scottish restaurant Albannach is helping diners get in the mood for love with a Champagne and oyster festival, running until 3 October. The restaurant is offering diners a glass of house Champagne and two oysters from £10.
Sat Bains has launched a new customer-focused menu called Unique, which allows guests the opportunity to create their own personal menu from a list of dishes. With 48 hours notice, Bains and team will create the Unique menu based on his philosophy of taste, texture and temperature. The 10-course menu will be priced at £95.
To celebrate Chocolate Week (11-17 October), Shay Cooper, the Michelin-starred chef at the Bingham, has teamed up with chocolatier William Curley to create a Chocolate Lover’s Gala Dinner, available from Tuesday 12 October to Saturday 16. The menu includes Turnip & White Chocolate Velouté, served with Confit Quail Rillette & Gingerbread Crumbs.
Wii exercise breaks
Park Plaza Victoria London has installed a Wii Fit console to help conference delegates boost their productivity. Available on one floor of the hotel, the Wii console allows up to four delegates at a time to play Wii Sports, do yoga or aerobic exercise during conference breaks.
