Legacy Hotels and Resorts has acquired the Novotel Hotel in Marsh Mills, Plymouth for an undisclosed sum

The three-star, 100-bedroom hotel will be renamed the Legacy Plymouth once contracts are exchanged on the property on 11 October.

All existing hotel staff will be retained, with the exception of the current general manager, who will stay with Accor, owner of the Novotel brand.

The Legacy Plymouth will become the 25th hotel in the group, and marks the start of expansion plans in the South West for Legacy.
