Chefs including Albert Roux, Jason Atherton, Ashley Palmer-Watts, Massimo Bottura and Chris and Jeff Galvin will head the line up at this year’s Restaurant Show, which runs next week from 11-13 October at London’s Earls Court 2.

The show, now in its 22nd year, will feature stands from more than 300 exhibitors, of which more than 100 are new to the event from last year, the final of the Craft Guild of Chefs 2010 National Chef of the Year, and the World Chocolate Masters.

BigHospitality and Restaurant magazine will be chairing a number of expert panel debates at the show, including a discussion on the future of fine dining featuring chefs Henry Harris and Jason Atherton, Quo Vadis owner Sam Hart and food writer Stefan Gates, and another on how ethical sourcing can make good business sense, with insight from TV chef Paul Merrett and Mark Poynton from Restaurant Alimentum in Cambridge.

Live chef demonstrations and interviews

The Centre Stage, featuring chef demonstrations and interviews, has the hottest line up to date with no less than four chefs and owners who feature in the World’s 50 Best Restaurants in attendance.

Claude Bosi of Hibiscus, one of only three UK restaurants in the list, will be demonstrating why he is arguably the country’s top chef, while Albert Roux, Ignatius Chan of Iggy’s in Singapore, Massimo Bottura of two-Michelin star Osteria Franscescana in Italy and Mathias Dahlgren of his famed restaurant in Sweden will divulge their experiences in running some of the world’s best restaurants and give their views on the industry today.

New to the show is The Gallery, where some of the UK’s top chefs and restaurateurs will give their predictions for the coming year and The Drinks Quarter, featuring food and drink matching sessions.
