Michelin-starred chef Marc Fosh has become the latest name to join Lufthansa airline’s Star Chefs program.
The chef, who currently runs a two restaurants, Simply Fosh and Tasca de Blanquerna, a culinary school and catering service in Majorca, is known for developing Spanish-inspired dishes with a French and Asian twist.
Passengers on Lufthansas long-haul flights in First and Business Class in November and December, will be able to choose from dishes such as Cod Salad with Oranges, Black Olives and Sherry Dressing; Braised Cheek of Beef Garnished with Olives and Leek accompanied by Mashed Celery; and Truffle Cream of Chocolate and Olive Oil with Fleur de Sel.
Fosh, who began working in England at the Greenhouse Restaurant in Mayfair and the Chelsea Room at the Carlton Tower Hotel, will be helping the airline celebrate the 10th anniversary of its Luftansa Star Chefs program.
He follows in the steps of chefs such as Dieter Muller, Daniel Boulud and Paul Bocuse, becoming the second UK chef in the program after former Foliage chef Chris Staines in 2008.
