Chiller Break

The Townhouse Collection’s Bonham Hotel in Edinburgh is giving fright-loving guests a chance to enjoy a two-night break alongside a tour of what is dubbed as the UK’s most haunted city. Having teamed up with horror tour operator Mercat, the Bonham Hotel is offering a Chiller Break consisting of two nights bed and breakfast, a three-course meal at its restaurant, a ghost tour of the Royal Mile and Blair Street Vaults, plus a historical daytime walk from £191 per person. The offer is available during Halloween week only.

Enchanted Forest Party

Glasgow’s Metropolitan bar and restaurant is hosting a Halloween party on 31 October with music, cocktails and games. The Enchanted Forest Halloween Party features a fancy dress competition, face painting, music by DJ Fox MacLeod and a range of ghoulish cocktails such as Green Goblin and Pumpkin Punch.

Chocolate Halloween Afternoon Tea

For those wanting a more relaxed Halloween, Podium Restaurant at London Hilton Park Lane is holding a Chocolate Halloween Afternoon Tea, featuring a range of spookily-inspired cakes and treats. It includes miniature Almond Paste Pumpkin, Tiny Toffee Apples, a Dark Chocolate Witch's Hat and a Blood Orange Chocolate Bar. There are also seasonal cupcakes including a dark chocolate and orange cupcake and a gooey toffee cupcake.

Witches and wizards

Lainston House Hotel in Winchester is holding a spooky afternoon designed with families in mind. Children can gather to listen to spooky stories, dress up, and create their own wands and brooms before exploring the surrounding forest while making their own potions on the way. Families can then gather back at the hotel for a refreshing afternoon tea. Prices are set at £25 per adult and £17.50 per child.
