Isabelle Legeron MW, presenter of TV show Journey into Wine, was the first French woman to ever become a Master of Wine, and has also received the Villa Maria Award for Viticulture and Madame Bollinger Award for Excellence in Tasting at her inauguration into the Institute.
She has now created the new wine list for Hibiscus, which features all-natural wine (free of additives and manipulation).
Meanwhile, Essex spa and restaurant Lifehouse has appointed a new executive head chef.
Paul Boorman joins the restaurant with over 20 years experience, and will work alongside Lifehouse’s resident naturopath and fitness manager to develop fine dining and spa menus featuring nutritious and seasonal dishes.
Berni Hawkins, managing director for Lifehouse, said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Paul to the Lifehouse team. He is an extremely talented individual with true passion and flair for his art and very knowledgeable on the subject of nutrition. I am sure he will be a real asset to us.”
