The national tourist board will publish all its latest industry research on VisitEngland.org, as well as other facts and figures that could help inform the development and strategies of hospitality businesses.
"One of our priorities is to keep the industry up to speed with the latest trends and insights to assist them in improving performance,” said James Berresford, chief executive of VisitEngland.
“Designed to be the first port of call, the website not only informs, but we hope, inspires the industry to try new things and to keep connected to us.
“The website is the first in a suite of communication tools to be launched by the tourist board with new industry newsletters and a CRM System (Customer Relationship Management) being put in place early the year."
The site will also include tools that VisitEngland says can support business development in specific areas such as sustainability and accessibility, which the board hopes will help businesses improve in these areas.
It also includes areas for partnership groups like the Partners for England forum and the English Tourism Intelligence Partnerships.
Other features of the site include a new media centre, itinerary suggestions and relevant images or videos. It will also aim to provide up-to-date information on marketing opportunities, as well as regular updates on England’s national tourism strategy.
