Marco Fazzina joins the restaurant after launching Le Caprice in New York for the group.
Having first joined Caprice in 2005 as restaurant and event manager at Caprice Events, Fazzina moved to Daphne’s in South Kensington as general manager before his relocation to New York.
He intends on managing J Sheekey by focussing on detail, service and charm.
Meanwhile, London restaurant Trishna has appointed a new head chef to take over the kitchen from 14 February.
Karam Sethi joins the Indian restaurant with experience gained from Bukhara in Delhi, Trishna Mumbai and Zuma in London.
He will take up the position after embarking on a two-month research trip to India.
“I’m looking forward to taking over the Trishna kitchen,” he said. “I’ve brought back lots of exciting ideas from India. The challenge will be cooking with British ingredients.”
