Minister for Tourism John Penrose is the man behind the paper, and has called for operators to let him know what they would like changed.

Suggestions have ranged from making UK visa applications simpler to the inclusion of the Daylight Savings Bill, which would see the UK’s clocks move forward by an hour to produce lighter evenings.

Local Council Tourism Manager holding up promotion

Posted by Richard Mahony (Captain),

My local County Council Tourism Manager is holding up the promotion of a major Dover tourist attraction. I am a private tour operator with finance available and willing to invest in this tourist attraction the "Grand Shaft" and Western Heights of Dover.I have since found out that other tourist attractions in the Dover area have had the same problem. Can anything be done?
