Nominations are being sought for the Hospitality Industry Trust (HIT) Scotland’s 2011 Lifetime Achievement Award.

Won in the past by Peter Lederer and Andrew Fairlie of Gleneagles Hotel and Craig Stevenson of Braehead Foods, the award recognises an individual who has demonstrated passion for the Scottish hospitality industry and worked toward raising standards.

The winner will be announced on 24 March at an industry dinner hosted by the charity at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow.

David Cochrane, chief executive of HIT Scotland, said: “The award is an opportunity to reward someone who is a great asset for our industry. In return they will act as role model, inspiring future leaders of the industry.”

Nominations must be submitted by 8 March to info(at)hitscotland.co.uk.
