On-trade drinks supplier Matthew Clark has introduced 200 new wines to its 2011/2012 Wine List, with some bottles launching in the UK for the first time.

Matthew Clark has made key changes in its New World collection, which is currently seeing growth in the UK on-trade.

Ian Smith, Matthew Clark’s commercial director, said: “A big focus this year has been the expansion of our Argentinean range and we welcome, for the first time as suppliers, D&D Wines who are providing us with the new on-trade exclusive Callia range from the Salentein Estate and some new varietals for Matthew Clark from Argentina, the Portillo Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir.”

Other additions to the wine list include three Malbrontes wines from Las Bodegas; Chalone wines from Monterey County; St Suprey wines from Napa Valley; Drostdy-Hof, Fleur Du Cap, Durbanville Hills and Nederburg Manor House wines from South Africa; the new Pongracz range also from South Africa; Bethany from Barossa Valley; Over the Shoulder and Oakridge from the Yarra Valley and Paracombe wines from Adelaide Hills.

Matthew Clark’s Old World collection has also been bolstered by the introduction of Comas wines from Rhone and a de-alcoholised wine Torres Natureo from Spain.
