Von Essen is giving its guests the chance to holiday like a royal with a new tour package taking in its properties with royal connections. Guests can travel between a number of properties, including Thornbury Castle in Gloucestershire – once home to King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn – by helicopter before enjoying an overnight stay. Von Essen is offering three tour packages, priced from £5,265 per person. Those wishing to explore their destinations in even more style can rent an Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini or Maserati through Von Essen from £800 per day.
Scratch and win
The Devon-based Lifestyle Hospitality Group is giving diners at its eight restaurants across the South West the chance to win a trip for two to Paris. Anyone spending £20 or more will be given a free scratchcard with a guaranteed chance of winning a prize from free drinks and coffees to starters and desserts. The promotion will continue until 1 April.
Langham Hospitality Group has teamed with frequent flyer programme Miles & More to offer guests airmiles when they stay at The Langham, Langham Place, Eaton Smart and Eaton Luxe. To launch the partnership, Langham Hospitality is giving guests the chance to double their award miles if they book at least a Club room or a Signature package before 31 May.
iPad 2 FaceTime
InterContinental Hotels has equipped its concierge teams with the new iPad 2 from Apple, so guests can get in touch at any time using the platform’s FaceTime feature. Consumers can chat with any concierge member about local attractions and recommendations even before they leave home – so long as they have a MacBook, iPhone 4, iPod Touch or iPad 2 themselves.
