Mitchells & Butlers (M&B) is rolling out a self-service buffet breakfast across its Crown Carveries around the nation, following a successful three-month trial of the concept.

Over 90 Crown Carveries around the country are now serving breakfast from 8 - 11am on Mondays to Saturdays, and from 9 - 11am on Sundays.

For £2.99, customers are served two rashes of bacon and a sausage, and can help themselves to eggs, baked beans, tomatoes, mushrooms and hash browns.

Vegetarian breakfasts are also available at £2.99, while king-sized breakfasts are charged at £4.49. Teas and coffees are priced at £1.25.

“For Crown Carveries serving breakfast enables us to reach new guests through offering a different dining occasion,” a spokesperson told bigHospitality.

“We've also been able to apply the same approach to our breakfast menus as our carvery roast dinners - meaning customers can build their own breakfast meal, just the way they like it.”

Breakfast at Harvester

M&B is also serving breakfast in its Harvester pub brand, with 36 of its 176 Harvester sites now open for breakfast.

Breakfast items include Full English breakfast, pancakes and waffles.
