Action Against Hunger launches new-look campaign

The group’s previous initiatives, Fight Hunger Eat Out and Restaurants Against Hunger are now being replaced by Love Food Give Food, which appeals to food lovers across the world to “turn their passion for food into action”.
As with Action Against Hunger’s previous initiatives, the rebranded campaign aims to alleviate malnourishment in children.
“We hope to raise over £1m per year by 2015 from all those who really love food: home cooks, restaurateurs, chefs, food critics, delis, cafes, farms, city farms, retailers, city foodies, allotment owners... and anyone else with a passion for food,” said the charity.
The group, which says that 92 per cent of all funds raised go directly to its programmes and services, is urging restaurants to sign up to the rebranded campaign.
