Choice Hotels Europe adds two more UK hotels to portfolio
The 211-bedroom Croydon Park Hotel, situated close to East Croydon station, has been rebranded the Clarion Collection Croydon Park Hotel and will operate under a franchise agreement with Choice Hotels Europe and Kasterlee UK.
Landlet Hotel Group, operator of Belgrave House Hotel in Victoria and serviced apartments, will own and operate the newly-named Comfort Hotel Luton, now offering 44 bedrooms following work to double the number.
Both operators will share the benefits of operating under Choice's Comfort, Clarion or Quality brands such as having reservations delivered through a central online booking system and marketing support.
Zaheed Nizar, director of the Landlet Hotel Group, said: "We wanted to work with a strong global franchise brand and Choice Hotels Europe was the organisation that best matched our needs.”
Choice Hotels franchises nearly 500 hotels across Europe and has a portfolio of 6,100 across the world under the Choice Hotels International name.
