Fast pub service is amongst top priorities for customers

Preliminary results from a Him! Research’s OnTrack 2011 report revealed that quick service was amongst the top five priorities for pub customers, after a pub’s proximity to customers’ homes and its atmosphere.
Customer gave ‘efficient service’ and ‘quality of service’ nine out of ten on a customer satisfaction scale. Overall, 7 per cent of respondents said faster speed of service would improve their pub experience, while 4 per cent said this would be improved by friendlier staff.
The report was prepared following interviews with 2,700 pub customers conducted earlier this month at Greene King, JDW/Lloyds Average, JD Wetherspoon, Lloyds, Shepherd Neame, Vintage Inns, Marston's, Punch, and Independent Pubs.
Additional findings from this month’s OnTrack 2011 programme are currently being processed and will be released within the coming weeks, said Him!
