Rocket, specialising in upmarket pizzas, grills and creative salads, has taken a 4,700 sq.ft unit over ground floor and mezzanine, while The Coffeesmiths Collective will occupy a site comprising 700 sq.ft. Both have been acquired on 15-year lease terms.
All five restaurant and food units within 201 Bishopsgate and The Broadgate Tower are now fully let, with Rocket and Coffeesmiths joining Egyptian cafe concept Cilantro, Tsuru Sushi, and Pret a Manger within the Broadgate Plaza.
This will be the fourth outlet for Rocket and the first since the company merged with Luke Johnson and James Horler’s Mediterranean concept, Ego, to form 3Sixty Restaurants in April 2011. Rocket has existing sites in Mayfair; at Old Broad Street in the City; and at Churchill Place in Canary Wharf.
New Zealand operator The Coffeesmiths Collective currently operates one outlet on Leather Lane, Clerkenwell, called The Department for Coffee and Social Affairs.
