Dyson has developed a new bladeless fan heater which can heat hotels, clubs and bars in around half the time of some convection heaters, using up to 50 per cent less energy.

Dyson Hot can be set between one and 37 degrees Celsius, meaning it can be used by businesses all year round. It monitors room temperature by measuring the surrounding air, ensuring the correct eat is maintained.

James Dyson, founder of the Dyson brand, said: “Constantly fiddling with the thermostat to get the temperature right can be frustrating, often making the environment uncomfortable for people to work in. Engineered to heat the room with a level stream of air, we’ve developed a new solution to an old problem.”

The Dyson Hot fan heater has no blades or visible heating elements and features tip-over automatic cut-out - a safety feature which could be of importance to pubs and bars.

The heater uses patented Air Multiplier technology so that the temperature can be selected to the exact degree, with the intelligent thermostat ensuring it remains there.

With Christmas drawing nearer, hoteliers, restaurateurs and pub operators may be looking for ways to keep their premises’ warm for customers at a cheaper running cost. The Dyson Hot fan heater is available for £269.99 with a two-year guarantee.
