The event on 21 October saw hundreds of guests, including chefs Jason Atherton and Brian Turner, gather at the Nine Kings Suite at Lancaster London for a Champagne reception, four-course meal and auction.
HA chief executive Penny Moore, said: “The extraordinary generosity shown will allow us to continue to raise awareness of key issues and helps us to support industry members in their darkest hour. Thank you so much to all those who have supported the Ball this year and made it a real night to remember.”
The night also saw four individuals and businesses win awards in recognition of their support for the charity. They were:
- The Ambassador award: Fiona Rickard, managing director of Jellybean Creative Solutions
- The President’s award: Bunzl Catering Supplies
- The Ark Foundation award for Corporate Social Responsibility: Lime Wood
- HA’s Heroes award: Michael Cross of Churchill China
