HMA's Hotel Marketing Awards are now in their 18th year
The Hotel Marketing Association (HMA) has revealed the categories for its prestigious annual 2011 Hotel Marketing Awards, recognising the best hotel marketing campaigns in the UK over the past year.

Now in their 18th year, the five awards include two new categories – Best Social Media Campaign and Best Agency Promotion or Campaign. The HMA is also calling for entries to its Young Marketer of the Year, open for marketers under 30.

“Winning a marketing award from the HMA is a great accolade for any individual hotel or group and we urge everyone who is eligible to submit an entry,” said Andrea McKay, chairman of the HMA.

Previous winners of the prestigious awards include Gleneagles, The Berkeley, Hilton, Marriott, Premier Inn, De Vere and Intercontinental Hotel Group. The Young Marketer of the Year is in its sixth year and previous winners have worked for Hilton Hotels, Marriott and Maybourne Hotels.

This year’s award winners will be announced at the HMA 40th Anniversary Christmas Lunch at London’s Savoy Hotel on 19 December 2011. A raffle and auction at the event will be held to raise money for charity.
