Newly-opened restaurant Hawksmoor Guildhall will be opening its kitchens to four of the best chefs in the UK for one exclusive night in a bid to raise funds for Action Against Hunger.

On 26 November, head chef Richard Turner will be welcoming a ‘dream team’ of Jason Atherton (Pollen Street Social), Jun Tanaka (Pearl), Judy Joo (Playboy Club) and celebrity chef Valentine Warner to cook up a five-course meal for a limited number of guests.

Hawksmoor co-owner Will Beckett said: “Action Against Hunger is an amazing charity, doing humbling work around the world. We’re incredibly fortunate to make a living working with food and doing what we love, so it seems only right that we should try and do what we can for a charity fighting hunger and malnutrition in some of the world’s most deprived countries.”

The evening will be hosted by Bloomberg’s Richard Vines and Ravinder Bhogal, and will feature a Champagne Taittinger reception, the five-course meal with drinks, and a silent auction of once-in-a lifetime experiences. Tickets cost £150 each.

The 160-cover Hawksmoor Guildhall restaurant opened last month. Over 2011, the three Hawksmoor restaurants aim to raise £100,000 for Action Against Hunger, a figure equivalent to treating more than 2,700 children suffering from severe acute malnutrition. The evening will be a final push in enabling them to achieve their target.

Action Against Hunger works in 46 countries around the world, benefiting five million people each year. For more information or to book tickets, visit http://hawksmoor.bigcartel.com/product/hawksmoor-dream-brigade-dinner-in-aid-of-action-against-hunger, or contact katie@thehawksmoor.com.
