Sports Bar & Grill, which currently has three sites in London, is set to open a fourth at Waterloo Station, with plans to expand to six sites by 2013.

The new 2842sq.ft site is part of Network Rail’s new balcony retail scheme. Creating 40 full-time jobs, it will be open early next year in time for Euro 2012 and the London Olympics.

David Evans, Sports Bar & Grill owner said: “We are delighted to have come out on top in the tender process particularly when you look at the quality of the other companies that were also tendering.

With sites in London’s Marylebone and Victoria Stations and another in the City, Sports Bar & Grill have committed to an investment of £750k for this latest addition.

“By having a similar size restaurant at Victoria Station with similar footfall we believe our forecasts are very accurate, especially with the forthcoming London Olympics,” added Evans.

One more Sports Bar & Grill is planned for late 2012 and a sixth site in early 2013.
