Del’ Aziz, the Mediterranean and deli restaurant operator, has revealed details of its sixth site, set to open next month in the heart of Clapham Old Town.

Brainchild of husband and wife team Shahrokh and Zehra Parvin, the new Del’ Aziz will open on Monday 5 December and comprises a delicatessen-café, gift shop, restaurant and two bars, and will serve Eastern Mediterranean cuisine.

The 70-cover restaurant extends into the lounge bar, which allows for 16 seated or 30 standing customers. The Zahra Bar on the ground floor has a capacity of 100, while the upstairs café has 50 covers.

As with its sister sites, the latest addition to the Del’Aziz portfolio will offer a Middle East and Eastern Mediterranean style, with spicy dishes from Maghreb and Egypt, flavours from Lebanon, Turkey and Greece and simple, healthy dishes from across the Mediterranean. The new venue will also replicate the interior style, with wooden and copper features with red, pink and saffron colours throughout.

All-day menu

The all-day menu will be reasonably priced, with a lunch special available at £12.50 for two courses. The restaurant will serve food from 7am until 11pm.

The range of dishes includes full English breakfast, hot and cold mezze platters to share, fresh fish, burgers and stuffed pitas. Accompanying the food is an extensive wine list including ten red and white wines by the glass.

Del’Aziz currently has restaurants at Bankside, Bermondsey, Fulham, Swiss Cottage and Westfield Stratford Shopping Centre.
