People on the Move in Hospitality: November 2011

FJB Hotels Group ​has appointed Michael Regenhardt​ as group operations director, while Seamus O'Hara​ is to take the helm of the DoubleTree by Hilton NewcastleHotel​, which is set to open next week.

Jayne Bourque​, who has worked in hospitality for over 26 years, has been appointed general manager of the Thistle Aberdeen Caledonian ​hotel. One08 Restaurant & Bar​, located in the heart of Marylebone Village, has recruited Russell Ford​ as executive head chef.

Liverpool's Beatles-inspired Hard Days Night Hotel ​has announced the promotion of two long-serving employees - Clare Little​ and Jacci Smith​ - to senior positions at both back and front of house, while the Best Western Roker Hotel has appointed Federico Trulli as food and beverage manager.

The Grand​ hotel in Bristol, under the Thistle portfolio, has unveiled Jacquie Hanson​ as general manager, overseeing the direction of the hotel. Bar restaurant chain Revolution​ has appointed Nathan McManus​ as head of food development to help spearhead the company’s food growth plans.

Christopher Peach​, who has a solid background in hospitality spanning 23 years, has been appointed as the general manager of the Radisson Blu Hotel​ in Bristol, while Le Méridien Piccadilly has announced the appointment of Boris Ivan ​as the new Bar Manager for the hotel’s chic destination bar Longitude 0°8​.
