Over 540 guests from Greater Manchester’s hotel and hospitality community attended the Bollywood-themed evening, with the presentation of a selection of awards including the Lifetime Achiever Award which went to Tony Blunn, maintenance manager at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel.
Stephen Miles, chairman of the MHA, said “The MHA has been a passionate supporter of Hospitality Action for the past seven years. The service the charity offers is invaluable and we’re delighted to support the work it does on behalf of the entire industry.”
Hospitality Action has assisted 66 households in the North West this year, spending a total of £46,697 towards life altering illnesses such as cancer, multiple sclerosis and lung disease, poverty and domestic violence.
