The 150-cover Italian Restaurant completes the 19,000sq.ft Novikov site in Berkeley Street, Mayfair, which also includes The Asian Restaurant and a downstairs lounge bar.
Head chef at The Italian Restaurant is Carmelo Carnevale, latterly of Bar Trattoria Semplice, while Stefano Stecca – joining from his own restaurant Osteria Stecca – is executive chef.
The food served will be classic Italian, with average prices (excluding drinks) at £25 for lunch and £50 for dinner.
The development is the first outside Russia for the Novikov Restaurant Group, owned by entrepreneur Arkady Novikov.
