Vivek Singh has named the restaurant he plans to open this March, Cinnamon Soho as well as revealing other details of what will be his third restaurant in London.

The new venue, on the site of the former Red Bar in Kingly Street, will be open for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and drinks and will have a more casual feel than its sister venues The Cinnamon Club and Cinnamon Kitchen.

With the kitchen headed up by chef Ramchandran Raju, the 75-cover two-storey restaurant will serve dishes such as rasam poached and crumb-fried sole with onion raita; Keralan seafood pie; Punjabi whiting fish fingers with yoghurt rice and fennel slaw; and vindaloo of ox cheek.

Singh said: “Cinnamon Soho will be our first foray into central London and we’re excited to be in the hustle and bustle of it all: as the younger, trendier sibling, diners can expect a more casual, all-day menu and interiors that are sympathetic to Soho’s inimitable style.”
