The launch of Birmingham’s new Hampton by Hilton hotel has moved a step closer with the appointment of Elaine Grahame as its general manager.
Grahame has been appointed by hotel operators Sanguine Hospitality to lead the 285-bedroom Broad Street property, which will become Europe’s largest Hampton by Hilton when it opens its doors in May.
She has more than 13 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, including four years as general manager at Holiday Inn Manchester West and previous spells as director of sales at the prestigious Hilton and Le Meridien hotels, also in Manchester.
Grahame said: “The Hampton by Hilton brand stands for affordable style in a great location, and this development promises to become the standard bearer for that approach. Birmingham has such a great vibe at the moment and it feels like the place to be, so I’m thrilled to be here as we launch a sophisticated, contemporary hotel to the market."
